Doing that unplanned new dad thing. Lesson number one: Don't make a mess. A corpse will qualify as a mess so don't make those.
Lesson number two: Don't interrupt dad while he's drinking.

hm, despite his refusal to make a 'mess' aka leave a corpse behind, he doesn´t seem to have a lot of respect for his meal with how carelessly he shoves them to the ground - guess its more about leaving no traces of their existence then concern for humans.
also, since he seems to drink with his fangs still embeded does that mean they are hollow (like snake fangs) and he sucks up the blood through them?

Nah, Antoine is just really fussy about his comfort and appearance--no wrinkling the ensemble or encroaching on personal space. The guy didn't fall far enough to do any damage, especially with his body as relaxed as it is.

The fang thing is a good point. He should not be drinking through his fangs. The Accedo family can do that but not the Bidene. I think that was an oops.

He cares about the masquerade, and leaving no trace: he only cares about humans in the context of food.

Keeping the fangs in will control blood flow: if he removes his teeth, the wound will bleed like crazy.

Using the fangs to slow the bleed out is a neat idea.

As for the masquerade, I don't think Antoine worries too much about being overly sneaky and blending in. So long as he isn't too over the top with the supernatural things in public, no one will remember it come sunrise anyway.
