interesting question - is antoine really such a mastermind, or is he totally unaware of scotts wife´s problems and doesn´t deserve kurts hate?

Kurt and Antoine have known each other a really long time. Antoine is actually pretty good at getting whatever he wants AND Kurt is rather terrible at it. Kind of a double whammy there. This also plays into a major insecurity that nearly everyone in Kurt's family has: Being used as living shields. He's really asking himself if Antoine has just figured out how to get free protection rather than paying for it like everyone else. He doesn't trust anyone at that table right now. We'll have to wait and see what Antoine is actually up to. I will say this much, if Kurt had the ability to pick the motivations of others out of thin air... he would probably be a lot better at the boardroom game.
